Where to start
Two routes to the same result.
Braces and Invisalign aren’t two products with two price tags. They are two routes to the same finished bite. Which one suits you depends on what your clinical needs are and what your lifestyle looks like.
Dr. Garrett now does more clear-aligner treatment than braces. At your consultation we help you pick the right path and the right fit for your needs and your lifestyle.
Choose by treatment.
Braces
Self-ligating brackets, so appointments fall every two months instead of every four weeks. For children, teens and adults.
Invisalign
Scanned in about two minutes. No trays of putty, nothing to gag on.
Early treatment
A first look around age seven. Often means fewer teeth removed later.
Invisalign Touch-Up
Had braces years ago and things have moved? A short course to bring it back.
Retention
Retainers, checks and replacements. Your first set is included in the treatment fee.
Complex bites and jaw surgery
We look for the least invasive route first, and coordinate the rest when surgery is genuinely the right answer.
Choose by who you are.
Appliances
The tools we use to get you there, and what each one does.
Self-ligating brackets
The braces we use. They hold the wire without elastic ties, so there’s less friction and appointments can fall further apart. Braces →
Clear aligners (Invisalign)
A series of removable trays, changed on a schedule, worn 20–22 hours a day. Invisalign →
Expanders
Widen a narrow upper jaw while a child is still growing. Often the reason permanent teeth don’t have to be removed later. Early treatment →
Anchor screws
Small temporary screws that give a wire something to push against. They do the job headgear used to do. Complex bites and jaw surgery →
Retainers
What holds the result. Fixed, removable, or both. Your first set is included in the treatment fee. Retention →

Complex cases
Advanced technology, and non-surgical options
On complex cases Dr. Garrett starts by looking for the least invasive route that will hold, with 3D imaging before anything is decided. When surgery genuinely is the right call, he plans it with the surgeon and stays involved through to the finish.
What it costs
One fee, no hidden charges.
You get the whole fee at the consultation, in writing, before you decide anything. It covers your appointments, your materials and appliances, plus two things practices don’t usually include.
Most emergencies
A poking wire or a broken bracket doesn’t come with a bill.
Your first retainers
After the braces come off, and the retainer check that follows.
Monthly payments are interest-free, and there’s a discount if you’d rather pay in full at the start.
